‘Tatu’, ‘Isoken’, ’18 Hours’ Win Big At #AMVCA2018: See The Full Winners List


The biggest movie award night in the continent, the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2018 held on September 1st 2018 at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos Nigeria.

The event which was also broadcast live to millions of viewers across Africa on satellite television attracted the biggest movie stars from all across Africa on who came in their numbers to witness the grand event which is in its sixth year.

Notable actors in the film industry battled it out in 27 award categories with the movie ‘Tatu’ being the biggest winner of the night with 5 awards. The movie directed by  Don Omope won the awards which include Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Track, Best Sound Editor, Makeup and Special Effect.

‘Isoken’ directed by Jade Osiberu and ’18 hours’, a directional debut by Kenyan director Njue Kevin came second with three awards each. Other winners on the night were BBNaija’s Bisola who went home with the 2018 AMVCA Trailblazer’s Award.
