Jennifer Garner Pals Around With Ben Affleck's Mom Before Heading To Church

Things may be tense between estranged couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck but all seems to be going well with Jen and her mother-in-law!



Jen was all smiles when she attended Sunday services in Los Angeles with her six-year-old daughter Seraphina and Ben's mother Christine Anne Boldt.



These two looked like they were thick as thieves!



The mother-of-three wore a charcoal grey shift dress and black ballet flats. She let her hair down and kept her jewelry and makeup to a minimum.



Jen seems to be smiling despite recent reports that her ex had rekindled a romance with former flame Kate Beckinsale.



Their great mood seems to be in direct contract to how Ben looked over the Thanksgiving holiday. The Oscar winner was out by himself on Turkey Day, wearing sweats and picking up cigarettes at a gas station. We have to say, Ben cut quite a lonely figure. Perhaps that's what happens when you sleep with the babysitter?!
