Lecturer Dismissed After Forcing University Students To “Slap” Themselves For Being Late To Class (Photos)

Shocking footage posted to Chinese social media showed the teacher, identified as Lu Ping, encouraging male and female students to slap each other, according to People’s Daily Online.

At one point, the teacher even steps in to slap two students himself.

The students were only allowed into the classroom once they completed the physical assault.

 

The man was a teacher at Hexi University School of Medicine in Gansu Province, central China, and has now being dismissed in accordance with Chinese law, after the video emerged and became widely shared on social media on Thursday.

Senior officials at the college also visited the students involved and Lu Ping was asked to apologise to them.
