#NollyFirstFridays Goes “Out of Bounds” This Friday

On Friday, 6th July 2018, Out of Bounds will be screened as part of the fifth edition’s proceedings. First Fridays provides a hassle-free but hustle-full platform for filmmakers and film lovers to meet, mix, network and have fun in a light, party-mode environment.

The 1997 Nollywood classic was written and produced twenty-one years ago by veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, and where he embarked on the filmmaker’s journey for the first time.

Out of Bounds is also directed by veteran producer/director Tade Ogidan, who is responsible for many popular films like Hostages, Owo Blow, Madam Dearest, Dangerous Twins and many more.

Nollywood practitioners, movie lovers, and enthusiasts gather at The SMAT Place, Surulere, Lagos for exciting editions of the now-popular Nolly First Fridays, holding on the first Friday of every new month.

The monthly event is always attended by several Nollywood stars as well as film enthusiasts. MTV Shuga Naija stars Uzoamaka Anuinoh, Abayomi Alvin, Helena Nelson, Segun Dada, Moses Akerele, Ruby Akubueze, and Sharon Jatto have attended.

 

They were joined by actors Baaj Adebule, Shawn Faqua, Ijeoma Grace Agu (Eldorado, Taxi Driver, Flower Girl, Misfits), and producer-director Belinda Yanga-Agedah (Picture Perfect, Death Separates Us).

Culture consultant Jahman Anikulapo and dance expert Dayo Liadi (Ijodee) have also been also present.
