Kylie Jenner makes her Vogue debut, gets called out for lying about her surgeries
When Kim Kardashian scored the cover of American Vogue, it was major news. But that really broke the dam, and in the year and a half since Kim’s Vogue cover, Anna Wintour has featured Kendall Jenner a few times within the magazine. I think Kendall’s cover is probably inevitable at this point, but for now, Kendall does not have a Vogue cover. But this is a first – Kylie Jenner did her first photoshoot with Vogue for the January issue. Kylie posed with Bella Hadid (Gigi’s younger sister) and Lottie Moss (Kate Moss’s younger sister). You get the theme, right? Little sisters. And while Vogue allowed another Jenner girl in the magazine, they did something to her to make her unrecognizable.
You can see the Vogue slideshow and mini-interview here. The most interesting quotes are from Kylie, who we all know is trying to be The New Kim. First Kylie says, “I wouldn’t be who I am today if it weren’t for all my sisters.” Very true. I would argue that Kylie might be in a better place if she was raised by wolves. Then Kylie says this about her new app: “It’s like Kim’s, but for a younger generation.” BURN.
Meanwhile, in Obvious News Is Obvious News, a celebrity dermatologist is going on the record saying Kylie is “the number one” example of a celebrity who has gone much too far with cosmetic work. The doctor said: “Kylie is really young though, and there is a lot that I think she has had done at such a young age – fillers, Botox, peels. She has had her hips and butt done for sure.”
Here are some photos of Kylie yesterday, being named the brand ambassador for Nip + Fab. HER FACE.
