Kendall Jenner’s $10 Million Lawsuit

Don’t mess with Kendall Jenner.

The model is miffed that a skin treatment company, Cutera, used her photo and name to promote their laser acne treatment. Their poster features a huge pic of KJ with the headline Acne “completely ruined” Kendall Jenner’s self-esteem, then goes on to basically imply they should pat themselves on the back for Kenny’s “nearly flawless” complexion. There’s just one problem: Kendall never actually endorsed or, to anyone’s knowledge, used Cutera. She certainly didn’t give the company or brand permission to use her likeness to promote their product.

Kendall is so steamed she’s suing the brand for $10 million with the justification that she could command well into eight figures to do a worldwide endorsement of a product…so she expects to be paid just that by Cutera. She’s asking a court to award her the company’s profits which better add up to some serious bucks.

“The right to associate Kendall Jenner’s name and likeness in connection with a product or service belongs solely to Kendall Jenner and is protected by Federal and State law,” said her lawyer. “Today’s lawsuit by Ms. Jenner against Cutera, Inc., for the unauthorized use of Ms. Jenner’s name and likeness to promote its product should serve notice that Ms. Jenner will vigorously defend her rights under the law.”

Well OK, KJ.
