Five Things To Look Forward To At The 2018 AMVCAs

The sixth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards is only a few days away and viewers can expect nothing less than a night of entertainment, glitz and glamour from the most prestigious celebration of film and TV talent in Africa. This year, the show promises to be even bigger with top contenders from across Africa yet again competing for honours in voting and non-voting categories.

With the primary focus of the event being the recognition and rewarding of film and television talent for their outstanding work, viewers can look forward to their favourite stars lifting awards for categories like Best Actor/ActressBest Producer and the most coveted award, Movie of the Year.

In no particular order, here are a few reasons to look forward to the 2018 AMVCAs…

  1.    The Hosts

Nigerian media personality, IK Osakioduwa will return to host the show alongside South African media belle, Minnie Dlamini. The duo hosted the last two consecutive editions of the show and had great synergy on stage.

  1.    Speeches

Viewers can expect anything from comedic to tear-jerking speeches by the award winners as they render praises and appreciation to their fans and organisers of the award show.
